The hotel itself is great with comfortable rooms and great breakfast. While the location is convenient the parking was not as great. The valet and closeby lot was $40 a night.

Not a great neighborhood. There were a bunch of homeless people gathered in front of the hotel all the time. Fire truck showed up twice to address issues on consecutive days.

Great stay, centrally located, friendly staff, nice coffee/cookie/water/ hot chocolate service 24/7. Nice to have full breakfast included. Gym was adequate, room was spacious, bathroom was fine, water was very slow to get hot, but otherwise it was all a nice place to stay and would stay again.

The gem of downtown Providence

A wonderful couples stay! Friendly staff was super helpful. Great amenities like complimentary snack and drinks, nice breakfast, clean and working fitness center. All in a perfect location in downtown Providence and 2 min walk from the PPAC!

I was surprised to find out that the parking was not included. $40 a day is quite a lot. There was no refrigerator in the room. Although the room was very small, I’m sure they could’ve fit a refrigerator somewhere. Even a little tiny one. Also I asked somebody at the front desk to put my food in the refrigerator near the lobby and she took my food. Then when I went to pick it up the next day, a different person was there and he did not have any idea where my food was. He told me that we don’t normally do it, but the other girl did it without any problem. Also, I was supposed to receive a $15 credit for something. Could you please tell me what that’s about? Made a quick trip to Providence for two events & stayed at my fav location, the Providence Hotel. Perfectly located, comfy, pleasant, clean & non-smoking. Highly recommend!

I thought the Hotel was good, and convenient to many places and all walking distance. Hotel breakfast was ok the bar in the evening was not available that was a disappointment, the Saturday we stayed it was a private event, understandable, but Sunday it wasn't open. Some buildings in the area where run down, but overall I enjoyed my stay and would go back again.
