The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, with a beautiful pool and great access to the beach, which you can reach via the tunnel underneath the highway. The staff are also lovely and always very friendly and helpful.
The rooms are spacious and have great storage, which was a real plus. The bed itself is comfortable, but unfortunately the pillows were not. We didn’t sleep particularly well during our week-long stay because of them. I did ask for different pillows, but unfortunately they weren’t much better. The blackout blinds also aren’t really blackout, which didn’t help with getting a good night’s sleep.
If you’re staying in Block 1 on Level 2, be aware that you can hear the entertainment from your room, so it can get quite noisy in the evenings.
Unfortunately, we were also staying at the same time as a wedding party, and there was quite a lot of noise when they came back late at night. You can hear absolutely everything through the walls, so this was quite disruptive, especially when trying to sleep.
The sushi restaurant was probably the highlight for us and, in our opinion, the best restaurant on site.
The only real disappointment was the buffet. Both breakfast and dinner were quite underwhelming, especially considering that the buffet is the only dining option included with the half-board package. We expected a little more variety and quality from the food.
The minibar is never replenished unless you specifically request it, which I found quite annoying.
