New hotel, very tasteful. Very convenient location, within walking distance to the port and metro. Excellent breakfast. Will stay again when going or coming from the islands.

Great location, nice big space, modern furnishings. Sometimes it took awhile to get a response to messages but the woman who was on site at times was super helpful when we ran into her. Our balcony door didn’t work properly so we were unable to sit at the cute table and chairs outside. But overall a great spot and would definitely recommend it.

What a lovely, newly decorated and spotless hotel - with warm and attentive staff. These must have been the most beautiful views of the Acropolis and Temple of Hephaestus we have ever seen - very quiet room - a real find.

This hotel is located in the Piraeus Port area, so you experience the ambiance of an active port and big city, yet far enough away that our street was remarkably quiet. It was close to our cruise ship terminal (gate), which was a priority for us. Transportation to terminal was included in the room charge. We received door to door service. We stay at Athens Gate every time we visit Athens. The staff is wonderful. They are friendly, helpfu, and always give great recommendations for restaurants, sightseeing, etc.we have stayed at the Gate often and have never been disappointed.

The Sofitel Athens airport is a little pricey but you are paying for the convenience. It is literally across the road from the airport terminal…just a two minute walk! The room we stayed in was the superior room with a larger queen bed. The room was spacious with a separate WC and a separate and fabulously spacious shower. Room was clean and well appointed. Ac worked well and the kitchenette is nice to have when traveling (sometimes you just want to order in or have left overs).

This place is phenomenal. Brilliant service. They celebrated my mother’s birthday so nicely! They made an eggless, organic dessert for her and gave her a nice hairdo!

Without doubt one of the favorite hotels I stayed during my time In Europe; Staff was professional, friendly and knowledgeable; great location to major sightseeing and restaurants.

This is the 2nd hotel we stayed at in Athens. The location is EXACTLY where you want to be to access all of Athens and to feel emerged into some authentic culture. I’m not sure how this is a 3.5 star hotel when our other one was 4 stars and this was significantly better. The room was nice and cold, bathroom large and shower amazing!!! Perfect hotel on the beach, great stuff, very helpful and supportive. Very nice rooms with great sea view and amazing sunrise. Excellent breakfast. one comment is the noise from the road. Highly recommended when you need to be close to the airport.

My husband and I just stayed at this hotel and we absolutely loved it!!! It was so close to everything so we could just walk around! We went to their spa downstairs and had a wonderful massage/facial. The room was so modern and nice. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Chose because they provided airport transportation for our night in Athens. Lovely setting especially with room looking to the sea. Great food in the restaurant. Lovely seaside walking in the evening.
