On arrival the heating was on in the room and thermostat was broken, asked front desk staff to swap to another room and was told we had to pay £10 for upgraded room.

Room with a room view

The rooms are in terrible condition. The bed base isn't a bed base; it's two separate tables. The bed itself isn't a mattress, but a cushion-like object. The room was very cold. The radiators weren't working. Instead, there was an electric radiator heater. I think the room wasn't a room at all. I've stayed in many places around the world, and I've never stayed anywhere as bad as this hotel, which I booked last minute.

It was average. Did not know that every person had to provide ID at check in and caused lots of confusion with lots of guests. Very old and dated. Needs some money spending. Wine in bar was terrible!!
