This property is advertised as a hotel with a functioning in-room kitchen; however, the experience felt more like staying in an apartment complex than a hotel, particularly based on the condition of the common areas and the overall environment. The kitchen itself had no utensils, dishes, or glasses, making it unusable without bringing your own supplies.
Cleanliness was a concern. The carpets were filthy and furniture was heavily worn, and the air filter was dated 2/2024 and it looked like it. Towels left lint or debris on the skin after use.
The building was not staffed 24/7, and two entrances were unsecured 24 hours a day. There was no coffee maker in the room and no coffee available in the lobby.
Hot water was limited due to a small water heater and leaking showers. Bedding quality was below expectations, with small throw pillows.
The biggest issue was inaccurate advertising. Had expectations been set more clearly, I would have prepared differently or chosen another property. Additionally, although I disclosed traveling with a pet at booking and check-in by signing a consent and paid the stated total, I was later informed of an unexpected additional $70 pet fee. We paid $600 for 3 nights.
Clearer communication and improved cleanliness and maintenance would significantly improve the experience.
