This was a "work" trip to visit the coffee farm and get information on importing green coffee. The cottages were very clean and equiped with everything you could need for your stay. To be sincere with review, we need to notice that is not a city hotel, is branded as an ecofriendly hotel at jungle. For that this is a great hotel. At pool you are surrounded by Big mango trees, were you can watch guacamayas, parakeets, monkeys, hummingbirs, squirrels. Gardens are clean until some mango fall or squirrel eats some nuts. Rooms have good views, cold air for hot & humid weather, Restaurant have small options but good flavor and clean installations.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Mercedes Palenque. The rooms were comfortable and the ambiance was quite pleasant. There were 10 of is in 4 rooms so not all rooms were in the same bungalow, but it was ok. We enjoyed the jungle sounds in the morning and had the fantastic opportunity of watching a flock of parrots chattering in a tree and even watched them fly around.
