Everything was great.

Property is conveniently located to many local attractions. The rooms were nice and clean. I canceled my Marriott booking and gave this a try, and I was not disappointed. Saved me hundreds of dollars and I enjoyed my stay!!! It was a win, win!!! Customer service was also great and accommodating, even with my late check-in time. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone traveling with family or friends.

The apartament was clean and furnished with a refrigerator, stove, microwave and cooking utensils. Overall we had an excellent stay. Definitely recommend to persons visiting Essequibo in need of a place to stay.

Great find. When the taxi pulled up to the hotel all I saw was a small wood building typical of an old colonial building. This turned out to be the office / check in. Ask for the new building just behind. Room was large well appointed, clean and convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The location turned out to be only a few minutes from where I was working. I would highly recommend the Herdmanston Lodge and will stay there again when I return to Georgetown. Outstanding Customer Care We stayed here for a full week and it became our home away from home. I was glad to be a bit outside of town, and it’s an easy and affordable taxi ride into the heart of Georgetown. Service was great.

For the cosy of the rooms, Housekeeping needs to work on cleanliness of the rooms. The night stand had several bottle and cup marks stains from coffee and soda used by prior guests. The computer desk was extremely dusty. The floor had black footprint stains from the previous guest and clothes tags under one of the beds. Breakfast is excellnet!!! The breakfast staff generally were very nice except for one morning there was a male chef making the omelets and he seemed angry and didn't want...

The house we were supposed to stay in got cancelled after we landed in Guyana, and the owner let us stay here on short notice and basically saved our vacation! The house is in a convenient location between Cheddi Jagan and Georgetown. The beds are comfortable, AC gets really cold, ceiling fan in the sitting room and stand fan in the bedroom.
