"We had a superb couple of nights at the Museum. The Hotel exhibits a real delapidated chic. Wonderful staff made the stay so much better. Great breakfast and very convenient for visiting family in Chettle."

"I stayed here again with my husband, this was our second stay, lovely clean room, we had a private hot tub which was lovely, so 100 recommend three lions x"

"Great location, great amenities. Very clean bar a big cobweb. Good value and definitely worth a visit."

"We always stay at this hotel. It's handy for all the places we want to visit. The rooms are always more than adequate for our requirements. Ideally, we like the disabled accommodation when that is available for my elderly brother. The staff member who greeted us was polite and helpful. Breakfast is now buffet style which suits us better and there is a great variety of foods to suit all tastes. The staff were a little slow to clear used tables on my last visit but there were other tables further...

"The staff was friendly and nice and the breakfast was very good. The challenges were location (1 mile walk to town center); no phone in room; very limited storage space (1 drawer and 6 hangers)"

"This is an excellent place to stay for a few nights. Our room as in the attic and was small but well laid out, clean and very well maintained. The breakfast was excellent, with a choice of cooked dishes, as well as cereals, yogurt and juice. The central location makes it a good choice in this pretty town."

"Had a lovely weekend with hubby, stayed in one of the lovely little cabins and it felt so cosy and relaxing. We had both breakfasts and dinners at the pub and it was great good quality food and excellent service. Location is perfect right in the middle of the paradise of the New Forest."

"Location location location"

"Beautiful and comfortable room. The big bath was a lovely luxury. The staff we met were friendly and helpful. It's worth taking note that breakfast is in another building a short walk away."

"Basic but great location."

"It’s an 800 year old building and the floors are uneven and the stairs are whacky, but there is so much charm, it’s part of the experience. Staff was super friendly and the morning breakfast a great start to the day."
