Our stay at Te Dalu was exceptional. We loved that the hotel was located a little outside of Ella proper, which allowed for connection with the beautiful environment and scenery while still being convenient to the amenities of the main town. Absolutely stunning property and surroundings! House and rooms are nice and clean but public spaces felt small for the 7 rooms (14 people). It is nice if you are happy to socialize and share space. Staff was amazing and accommodating - food was good, not amazing - a little hit or miss. We didn’t have the full board / all inclusive like others and I felt like the prices were high for Sri Lanka. This was an amazing stay! Cozy room, nice breakfast, clean facilities, and excellent staff. The views were incredible. Easy to get to the main sites if you had access to a vehicle. No complaints at all! Note: The inn is up an extremely steep hill, so you'll need a vehicle to get there.

We spent 4 nights in the tree house. It was great experience, the surrounding is beautiful and peaceful. The staff is really helpful and attentive. I strongly recommend taking a trip in the fishing boat at the near lake.

Absolutely beautiful and very comfortable stay, all due to Bernard's warmth, generosity and accommodating all of our needs. We are so happy that we spent time on the beautiful grounds in such a beautiful setting. Kudos to the chef who's dishes were truly amazing!

Stunning views, especially of the waterfall. Spacious and clean room. Our balcony was extra large! They served a very delicious breakfast for a good price. We actually enjoyed it more than when we ate in town. The internet was a problem though, it did not work or was so slow it was unusable, but thankfully we had a hot spot to take video calls for work. Would definitely recommend as long as you don’t need internet.

Small and cozy boutique hotel with 6 rooms. Staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful and made the stay an absolute delight. The lake view rooms are also amazing - the ones on the ground floor especially so as they have access to a little garden that was a great place to relax in the evening. Would wholeheartedly recommend this to any traveler. Very friendly staff; beautiful and clean hotel; great view

This place has a gorgeous view, great hosts and delicious breakfast. The room is basic but clean and it does not matter that there is no aircon as Ella is not as hot as other places. There is a big fan if necessary. The host went above and beyond for us and even got up really early to get down to the station and buy us train tickets. We recommend this place for a picturesque, great value stay.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Very good location in Nuwara Eliya. From check-in to check-out our stay was seamless.We are three friends who stayed for one night. In the morning we came down for a walk to find some food, but the staff greeted us saying they'd been waiting for us for breakfast, as it was included!
