"Absolutely fantastic as normal. We love staying at the Royal Beacon Hotel. The staff are all so lovely, rooms kept to a high standard. Great location."

"Probably the worst hotel I've stayed at. The desk is scarcely manned. The phone just rings and rings. A sign in lugubrious English is left out for those already at the hotel with a mobile number on it, but those who are trying to call in advance are damned. There is a stench of damp in the hallway. The room is small, dark and unclean. Not recommended by any stretch of the imagination."
