Hotel Riviera Sidmouth
10/10 Excellent
"All the staff were very polite and helpful. They went out of their way to be helpful. All the rooms in the hotel were very clean. The food was excellent. Varied and well cooked and great presentation. Lounge was clean and comfortable. Breakfast had lots of variety and served quickly. It was nice having a concierge to park the car for us."
The Kingswood Hotel
8/10 Good
"I had a single room, which actually didn’t have a view (2 x frosted opaque windows) BUT the room was very clean and comfortable. It was also quiet (exception of seagulls at 5:30 but that’s outside the hotels control) Bed very comfy, en-suite all good. Breakfast was really good, all good quality produce in the full English and a lovely bowl of porridge for starter. Staff all very friendly Would definitely recommend and stay again although if you want a view and there are some great rooms with views make sure you ask. Sidmouth itself is a lovely Regency Seaside town which is full of period character and really well looked after."

"Lovely clean room, perfect for overnight stay, large car park too. Staff were super friendly at check in. The breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay there again next time."
Harbour Hotel Sidmouth
8/10 Good
"The hotel was lean Staff very pleasant and helpful Food in restaurant was exceptional"
White Hart, Exeter by Marston's Inns
10/10 Excellent
"Room was lovely, had a great nights sleep and the staff were great, thank you"
Royal York and Faulkner Hotel
8/10 Good
"Great breakfast and superb waterfront location!"
Southern Cross Guest House
8/10 Good
"Southern Cross was a quaint place to stay in, thatched building with sloping floors and uneven walls, typical of a very old building. The room was a little dark and the only point i would criticise was the ensuite had no wash basin in it as there was one in the room itself. But not very hygienic after using the toilet! Lovely staff and lovely breakfast."
The Belmont Hotel - Adults Only
8/10 Good
"Great location, right on the seafront. Staff are absolutely lovely. Hotel is very clean and seems to be freshly decorated, although in a rather dated style that perhaps caters more to the average age of the clientele. Breakfast is served at the table, rather than a buffet. The hotel suggests a jacket and tie in the restaurant for dinner, so it’s quite formal. Room was super clean and the bathroom bright, clean and clinical. Bed was very soft and bouncy. It was a very pleasant stay but, despite being in my 50s, I couldn’t help feeling that we were lowering the average age by about 20 years."
Dukes
8/10 Good
"All staff very welcoming and friendly, Good selection of breakfast. Rooms are clean, tea & coffee in room, hairdryer & ironing board, safe and TV, but very tired. Wood definitely stay again."
