Perak Hotels

It was such a uniquely designed hotel and even though it is not in town, it doesn't take to long to order a grab ride to go out and in. The only thing that could be improved on is if the shared kitchen area was better equipped with soap, paper towels, and dishes to use.

Good place and service

Staff was cheerful and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. There were many USB power outlets in the room, making it easy to charge devices. There was not much table or shelf space for personal items. A drawer or 2 would be much appreciated.

The front desk person was friendly, had a good sense of humor. Helpful. Our room was good size, clean and comfortable. It would have been nice if the restaurant and bar had been open. But with today’s staff shortages, was not surprised.

New hotel conveniently located, free parking, quite environment, friendly concierge.

The property is in a somewhat desolate area, so you'll need your own car or willingness to take a taxi everywhere. The rooms are clean and spacious but there are already signs of poor maintenance throughout. No complaints about the stay though; we had both a connecting room (king with two twin beds) as well as a deluxe queen (two queen beds) and found them very comfortable for our family with two small children. Good! Never saw the owners however, but the room is really nice. Close to everything, and yet very private. I would like to have had a kitchen to make breakfast, because there was no way of getting breakfast anywhere (except 7-11), so we just improvised with what we had. Overall, I would stay here again!

3 blocks from train station, and major historic sites. My windowless room was very quiet! An outdoor food court was a block away, next to the clock tower. There was limited dining after 5pm within walking distance.
