Perak Hotels

The Bedrock Hotel is a one-of-a-kind place: quirkily but tastefully decorated with wonderful management. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable and quiet. Debbie helped me arrange a tour to the Cameron Highlands and transport to the train station. I'd highly recommend the Bedrock, and I'll stay there the next time I visit Ipoh, a little gem of a town that's not yet spoiled by an onslaught of tourists.

It was fabulous...very quiet and relaxing. The spa experience was awesome.

Amazing hotel, super clean, very friendly staff. The hainanese restaurant next door is a big plus point too! Only con is that the hotel is a bit far from.. well everything! Could not walk anywhere, mainly because the infrastructure of ipoh is very VERY car-centric but also because of how far away the hotel is from most all places. The blocks surrounding the hotel are the either empty or abandoned, with the only other functional one being a carpet shop. Nevertheless, this also means that there is...

Staff was cheerful and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. There were many USB power outlets in the room, making it easy to charge devices. There was not much table or shelf space for personal items. A drawer or 2 would be much appreciated.

I was impress with the friendliness of staff and speed of check in. Overall experience was satisfied and wonderful. I would like to compliment the front liner Hema and Yanti for being helpful all time.There was one kind of stink smell when the air conditional was turned off, reported to the front desk, even they unable to find out the problem, but they took effort to reduce the smell. The shower hose was broken and there was a hole on top of the shower place. Maintenance came over to check and...

Generally, the hotel is clean and tidy. The service is satisfactory.

Good hotel for the price. Room was clean, and check in was easy. Pretty well located for central Ipoh and walkable to the train station (although a bit far).

Good! Never saw the owners however, but the room is really nice. Close to everything, and yet very private. I would like to have had a kitchen to make breakfast, because there was no way of getting breakfast anywhere (except 7-11), so we just improvised with what we had. Overall, I would stay here again!
