Hotels in River North

We chose this hotel last minute and we were nervous because there were a couple recent negative reviews. There were 4 of us in our family and couldn't find anything negative to say about the hotel. The only disappointing fact was that the rooftop bar was not open but that wasn't a big deal. Everything was very clean. Arlo Chicago is in the perfect location for walkable access to so many Chicago sights, excellent food (please try the Broken English Taco Pub around the corner!), bars, shopping, etc. It was also very conveniently located to access the L when we needed to get to other parts of the city! The staff was BEYOND accommodating, friendly, and helpful. The room was clean and exceeded all comfort expectations! I also highly recommend the lobby bar for a great happy hour spot!!! Excellent Customer Service

Recently stayed at the Springhill Suites/River North. Could not have picked a better location for the first time in Chicago. Tons of local dining options. Close to landmarks. Easily walked to the Magnificient Mile(Michigan Ave) Walked to the subway to go to Wrigley Field and the United Center. Hotel was excellent. Clean, the staff was excellent in all areas. Free breakfast was fresh and good. Highly recommend overall.

Great location, clean room and friendly staff!

Fabulous per usual. Warmly greeted by Aisha n Diamond. My VIP status was recognized and accommodated. I received a room upgrade and it really made our stay more enjoyable. Breathtaking view made a lasting impression. This is my favorite place to stay in Chicago.

This hotel is in a great location. It's walkable to many restaurants and other fun things to do in the city. We went to a Cubs game and were able to walk 5 minutes to the red line, which drops you off right at Wrigley field. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're going to a game but also want to stay in the city! This hotel offers amenities that others do not anymore - free breakfast and a daily complimentary happy hour! The rooms and rest of the property is kept clean, as well....

The customer service was great. And the pool is so pretty!

We had parking included. Very secure building and parking ramp. Quiet. Housekeeping very attentive. Front desk staff friendly. Shout out to Eric (he was there a lot, friendly, professional and available for questions or concerns). Great views. 8th floor has a workout room, sauna, steam room, massage room, pool table, ping pong, arcade games, outdoor area with basketball court, pickle ball, dog area. This hotel met our expectations. All the city attractions were within a walkable distance. The staff at breakfast was amazing! Shout out to Javier who was so welcoming and friendly :)

My husband and I loved this hotel!! It was within walking distance to everything we wanted to do during our stay! It was super clean, smelled great and staff were super friendly. It was an overall great stay! I think the only 2 complaints I have is that there was no iron and no dryer that we could use. We planned to go to The rooftop lounge one night and after my husband's shirt being packed up in the bag after our flight, it was wrinkled and we could hardly get the wrinkles out with the little...

The Drake is an awesome place to stay downtown. Right next to the water (where you can rent bikes and go for a ride along the beach) and next to all shopping and food districts. Perfect stay.

Clean room, friendly and hospitable staff, great location!

Perfect downtown location, great rooms with a separate sitting area, delicious breakfast and evening drinks/snacks are included, and helpful staff.

We liked how Michael/Front Desk was very helpful. Both me and my husband worked for a 5 star hotel in the Philippines and good customer service has always been imposed on us which we don’t find in most service oriented businesses anymore here and elsewhere which is sad.

I like the location, and the fact that it is close to restaurants/ grocery stores.
