I had a great experience during my trip to Chicago, and I was very happy with this hotel. Considering the price, the cleanliness, the staff, and the location were amazing. It was definitely a great value for the money, and I really enjoyed my stay!

Great staff. The rooms are more like hostels then hotel rooms. The tv did not work the shower curtain had mold all over it and the ceiling was peeling. Great location.

Has an older hotel personality. Definitely not five star, but ok. Staff was great. Apparently not all rooms have a TV which iriginally took me back. Ended up in bed early for the three nights I was there and all was well

Great location, very central to downtown and close to subway. Room was small but good value compared to nearby properties. Friendly and helpful staff.

A fun, boutique hotel with distinctive charm. We loved the downstairs lounge, the design of the rooms, and the ambiance. The location is very close to the Magnificent Mile and the river. We were disappointed that there was no fridge in the room.

We had one night at the Freehand Hotel. The hotel is a throw back in time and has many of its original details still present. Our room was quite small with limited assess to to far side of the bed. The same was true for the bathroom. Nicely tiled but very tight. We had a wonderful breakfast at the front bar area and our server was very nice and good. It is centrally located and easy to walk to many attractions and restaurants.

Found this hotel for me and my sister to stay at for a concert. Only stayed for one night but loved what we experienced at this hotel in that amount of time. Super friendly staff and very clean environment!
