"Ibis Hotel in Barajas offers amazing value for discerning travelers. Comfortable accomodations and a strategic location near the metro station make it a great choice. It is also surrounded by local restaurants and supermarkets. Recommended!"
"Barajas neighborhood is a perfect location to stay for a night of one need to catch an early morning flight out of Madrid Barajas airport.
There are also plenty of restaurants to choose from for dinner.
Hotel front desk is very helpful to get a taxi at 5am to airport."
"Fernando at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. We decided to come back and stay for another night because the hotel itself was nice and Fernando was just excellent!"
"I would stay at the hotel again in a heartbeat. The airport shuttle was a great benefit, being quick, and efficient. The property is well maintained and staff were all friendly.
It's located in a downtown zone of the small city of Barajas; there's a grocery store and a pharmacy very nearby and other dining options, as well."
"Do you need to crash for a night near the airport with parking? This may be your place. The room was basic and clean. The staff was wonderful. Right in the middle of the town of Barajas, with enough dining and drinking options. But that's it. This is a very simple stay with very basic accommodations. Unfortunately, the elevator broke the night we stayed so getting the luggage down to the basement parking was a treat."
"It was great surprise the Senator Barajas Hotel, everything went so well since our early arrival. Breakfast was very good, quality of resting very good too. Personnel working there is amazing, all super nice and kind. Recommended and in the list for returning whenever possible."
"Beautiful hotel close to the airport and only 100 meters from the main airport metro line. Very comfortable beds and very helpful staff. I liked how easy the shower was to use with a shower wand and overhead shower. Plenty of hot water. In room kettle with tea and coffee. Well worth the money. Would definitely recommend it."
"I really enjoyed my stay here. The room was very clean & comfortable, and all the staff I met were friendly & welcoming. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and more than enough food.
The location is also really convenient, especially if you’re travelling to or from the airport. There are buses nearby and Barajas Metro station is within easy reach, making it straightforward to get into central Madrid too. I’d happily stay here again.
¡Mil gracias!"
"I used the quick and convenient shuttle bus service from the airport for €10. Very friendly staff at check-in, spacious and extremely clean and comfortable room. Muchas gracias."
"The property is in a beautiful, historic neighborhood. The staff were very friendly and very welcoming to my cats. Great experience!
But if you are someone who needs everything to be like a five-star hotel you might not like this as it is very basic. I personally love it. The cleanliness is great as well."

As noted in other reviews this hotel is in a residential area which equates to a quiet and secure stay. Very attentive and helpful staff at all levels. We stayed here at the beginning of our stay and then again tens days later prior to leaving for a total of five nights. Both times were wonderful. The breakfast is expansive and complete. "Fresh" squeezed orange juice daily. Complimentary beer, wine, sandwiches, small salads, coffee and tea all day. An honor liqueur bar. Very clean and well...
I am a fan of Barcelo hotels but not of this one, i felt a little disappointed for the cost of the stay, but being in Madrid explained why is such this way. I uber most of the time and cost varies depending on time of the day but with a big increment for busy hours, the room was comfortable and quiet we had street view. Later in my stay i discovered that the metro stationPlaza Castilla, was in walking distance from there but I can’t say much because did not ride the it. There are few options...
We stayed at the hotel for 8 nights and absolutely loved it! Although it's located on a busy street, our room was very quiet thanks to the noise-cancelling windows and electric shutters. Both the room and bathroom were spotless and well-stocked with everything we needed, including shaving and dental kits, shower caps, and a variety of cute little bottles of toiletries. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The location couldn’t be better—right in the heart of the city. We’ll definitely...
Hotel and staff are nice. The only quirk is that it requires taking two separate elevators in different parts of the building to get to your room, but no huge deal. Staff and amenities are nice. Breakfast is amazing and definitely worth the added cost. My wife got pregnant here, so 10/10 recommended the bed.
The Wellington Hotel is very well located and it is truly a 5 star hotel. The service is impeccable, with great amenities, nightly turndown service, and an excellent executive lounge. The rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. The restaurants in he hotel are great, including a michelin starred restaurant.
We had a family double room for 3 adult and it’s roomy and comfortable. Right on Gran Via so it’s so easy for shopping and dining. The hotel has a roof top bar which has a beautiful view of Madrid. It’s an excellent place to spend the evening with friends/family.
The breakfast is GREAT with very nice setting and excellent varieties. Very happy with our stay.
We only stayed 1 night but the room was clean and quiet (we had an inner room). Bed was super comfortable & AC worked great. The location was very convenient for walking around the plazas & close to tons of bars & restaurants. We would stay again!
I stayed at this hotel several times. This time with my dog. It was a very pleasant stay. Thé hôtel staff was very friendly, professional and accommodating. Rooms are spacious, nicely furnished. Hôtel is walking distance to many cafes, restaurants, parks. Overall a very great stay in Madrid.
FABULOUS stay-THE LEVEL 15th floor for a week, with personal attention customer satisfaction! Offered quiet repose for breakfast and opportunity for meetings plus all day restorative tapas and tinto included! The staff graciously accommodated a gluten allergy issue for not only breakfast but throughout the day providing for "sin gluten" tapas. We fell in love with breakfast and Miguel’s daily gluten free offerings. (he even assured a small snack would be safe when other enjoyed pastries!) He...
This hotel is located in Salamanca, which is definitely an upscale area. Very high end shopping and an abundance of restaurants nearby. About a 20-25 minute walk to the Prado, Reina Sophia, and Thyssen museums. A great walk, don't bother with the bus or Metro. Definitely would stay again.
