"A bijou property that was originally a bridge house with views across the canal. There is heat which was needed as cold this week. Unfortunately there is traffic noise. There is no sink in bathroom but we squeezed the shower gel to cover our hands and then washed our hands in the bedroom sink. There are cupboards for clothes and cups, plates, cutlery and hairdryer. If you like different you will enjoy this experience."
"When I arrived the heating wasn't on and probably hadn't been for a while. I put it on and cranked it up, but the room didn't get warm enough through the whole night and the sheets were damp and horrible. I had to lie with all my clothes on. It still wasn't warm enough the next day. I had booked for three nights, but left after one. This was in November, it's probably nicer in the summer. "
"What a find. The staff was truly amazing and goes above and beyond. The rooms were lovely and incredibly clean. Perfect location to walk and explore the area and their restaurant had wonderful breakfasts."
"We really enjoy our night! The young woman that checked us in was over the top friendly. After a full day of travel it was great! She upgraded us! Also the best breakfast in the city…"
"Nicely presented hotel. The room had everything needed but a basic feel to it. Close to the tram line so it was easy to get to the city centre. Breakfast on the 17th floor was lovely- great views."
"Modern hotel 4 mins walk from Sloterdijk station so easy to get about. I feel safe as a solo traveller. Hotel is a large conference/convention hotel .. but also fine for travellers. Breakfast was nice. Prices were good for Amsterdam! Everything works. No complaints.
The train line is direct to the airport."
"Really lovely staff, so attentive and kind. Perfect location right by Dam Square. Clean and modern. Second time staying here, will definitely be back!"

Everything was perfect. Property is beautiful and staffs are kind. I enjoyed fitness and sauna too. The only drawback is checkout time at 11am is a bit too early. Hope it is 12pm.
All the rooms are different which makes them interesting. Comfortables beds, though pillows could be softer. Free bottle of champagne in suite was nice surprise. Loved the tea and pressed coffee set up in room for mornings or chilly afternoons. A steamer in the closet is better than ironing board. Room was quiet for outside noise, but some mechanical noises but not awful. Room service was good and Janz was excellent for breakfast and dinner. Area around hotel was great boutique shopping. Would...
Hotel Estherea is a beautiful place, with a fabulous location, great staff, clean, breakfast is great and the cookies, flavored waters and coffee machine are over the top. There are fresh flowers, gorgeous chandeliers and very comfortable sitting areas. It was a real treat and I would go back in a minute.
I have stayed in several different hotels in Amsterdam. This is the best hotel for the average person -- noting I am sure there are some nicer hotels that would cost $400 a night. This hotel is perfectly located between the Museum Quarter, the old section, next to Rembrandt Square, very close to the mile long walking mall, near other great shopping streets. Walking distance to the Jordaan district which is my favorite area. The hotel provides first rate breakfasts that spare no expense. ...
Great Hotel, The only thing I didn’t like was the 90 euros I was charge for the city taxes, the hotel must let the guest know about that ahead of time.
This a new property in an architecturally unique building just outside of the main tourist area. It is part of a large residential complex and is right on the water near a couple of free ferries. The first floor room with large windows gave me a wonderful view of the boats, ferries, and barges. Cafe and bar were on the opposite side of the building which provided different water views and had good food and drinks. There is nearby frequent bus service to the center of town. I loved it!
This is a great little hotel. Our stay was delightful, and we agreed that it's our hotel of choice in Amsterdam from here on. Our flight from London was long-delayed, and we didn't arrive until 3 AM; nevertheless, the manager got out of bed and welcomed us graciously. The hotel is small, only nine rooms. We had two of them and they were great -- very comfortable beds, very clean and modern. In spite of its small size, the hotel has an excellent restaurant, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner,...
We enjoyed the location of the apartment, even though it is a bit away from the main downtown area of Amsterdam. You can either take the bus to the train station or two free ferries, which will get you to the Amsterdam Train Station. Bus about 10 min and ferries about 30-45 min to downtown. Ferries were scenic with lots of boats. The apartment was very clean and well supplied with kitchen essentials. Please note that the bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs. We enjoyed the...
Great option for close proximity to the airport. Very nice for the price - newly remodeled with the decor you see in typical 4 star properties. Very clean, quiet and super comfortable.
