"A bijou property that was originally a bridge house with views across the canal. There is heat which was needed as cold this week. Unfortunately there is traffic noise. There is no sink in bathroom but we squeezed the shower gel to cover our hands and then washed our hands in the bedroom sink. There are cupboards for clothes and cups, plates, cutlery and hairdryer. If you like different you will enjoy this experience."
"When I arrived the heating wasn't on and probably hadn't been for a while. I put it on and cranked it up, but the room didn't get warm enough through the whole night and the sheets were damp and horrible. I had to lie with all my clothes on. It still wasn't warm enough the next day. I had booked for three nights, but left after one.This was in November, it's probably nicer in the summer. "

The property is unique. The commons areas are welcoming and convenient. We stayed here to be close to the art museums, and if you can dodge the bikers and trams for a five-eight minute walk, you will love the experience. The cocktail spread was all we needed for that evening meal, though we did find nearby restaurants that were fun. Breakfast at the hotel was delightful. Most wonderful was the kindness of the lovely women running the hotel. We felt welcomed in Amsterdam thanks to them.
The hotel staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Our room had a beautiful canal view. Walking distance to restaurants, museums. The room was clean and comfortable. We would stay here again.
This is a great little hotel. Our stay was delightful, and we agreed that it's our hotel of choice in Amsterdam from here on. Our flight from London was long-delayed, and we didn't arrive until 3 AM; nevertheless, the manager got out of bed and welcomed us graciously. The hotel is small, only nine rooms. We enjoyed the location of the apartment, even though it is a bit away from the main downtown area of Amsterdam. You can either take the bus to the train station or two free ferries, which will get you to the Amsterdam Train Station. Bus about 10 min and ferries about 30-45 min to downtown. Great Hotel, The only thing I didn’t like was the 90 euros I was charge for the city taxes, the hotel must let the guest know about that ahead of time.
Everything was perfect. Property is beautiful and staffs are kind. I enjoyed fitness and sauna too. The only drawback is checkout time at 11am is a bit too early. Hope it is 12pm.
It’s worth staying here to be a little bit away from the city but still be close enough for take a bus in. It’s less than 20 mins by bus and the stop is right next to the hotel. For me air conditioning was fine but my brother said it didn’t work well in his room. You can open the windows though which is a huge plus.
This a new property in an architecturally unique building just outside of the main tourist area. It is part of a large residential complex and is right on the water near a couple of free ferries. The first floor room with large windows gave me a wonderful view of the boats, ferries, and barges. Cafe and bar were on the opposite side of the building which provided different water views and had good food and drinks. There is nearby frequent bus service to the center of town. I loved it!
Lovely upscale hotel with amazing amenities including a fitness center, spa services, large pool and sauna, delicious restaurants, and pure comfort and space in the room. Coffee machine in the room, pillow menu, bath amenities. I would definitely come back in a heartbeat. Just a 5-10 minute walk from the metro station to get to the city center or anywhere around Amsterdam. My only minor complaint was that the tv remote was covered in some questionable gunk and was definitely not cleaned.
My bf and I had an AMAZING stay here! We booked a penthouse suite and it did not disappoint. Great panoramic views of the city, walkable to the Overamstel station, great amenities and great room. Only downside is it is about a 20min train ride to the central area of town so we’ll likely stay closer next time but for a luxury stay, we would highly recommend.
