The only thing I would have liked was for both rooms to have AC but regardless we were fine. Left the door open and soon it chilled off as well. "

As noted in other reviews this hotel is in a residential area which equates to a quiet and secure stay. Very attentive and helpful staff at all levels. We stayed here at the beginning of our stay and then again tens days later prior to leaving for a total of five nights. Both times were wonderful. The breakfast is expansive and complete. Great stay! Close to decent restaurants, museums, and important destinations. We arrived early before official check-in time and they promptly gave us a room…a huge relief for weary travelers. Service was top-notch.
Really loved staying here! We booked pretty late for our trip so we knew that this hotel was not near the city center. However it was a 5 min walk to the nearest metro station and then a 30 min metro ride to the center of Madrid which goes by a lot faster than you think. We were worried about using the metro but it was actually pretty easy!

Excellent location. Great staff. Rooms are immaculate and decorated beautifully. This is my 2nd time staying here. Lovely hotel. Breakfast is amazing. While not close to all the major museums, it is extremely close to the buses that will take you to them in minutes. Also, only about 3 blocks from the bus/train station. Bus 200 will take you from/to Madrid Barajas airport. If I ever come back to Madrid, I will stay here.
This hotel is conveniently located near several points of interest, especially the Atocha train station. The hotel is on a corner which makes it easy to grab a taxi. We walked 10 minutes to Prado Museum. The room was quite comfortable for 4 people. We stayed overnight to grab the train so it was perfect!
The hotel was perfect for our weekend stay. One of the most important things for me is for a hotel to be clean and it definitely was. The staff was friendly & helpful. Breakfast was great. The location was slightly outside the city center but close to two metro stops and two bus lines so getting around was easy. I would recommend this hotel and I would go back as well.
