"New hotel. Locks don't work. I was literally locked out of my room, with no access to my clothes or toothbrush, for 24 hours. When I got inside, I made the mistake of locking my computer in the safe--and couldn't get it out. Was about to miss my flight home when I searched how to open the safe myself (something inside jammed it and made it refuse my entry code) and dashed to the airport. Three sleepless nights (and one grubby day that I had to use yesterdays clothes for a business meeting) out...
"We (family of 5) had a great stay at LYV Apartments in early April 2026. The rooms are very nice, kitchen has everything you need and the host if easy to communicate with (both direct and via app).
The area is nice and vibrant, with good and easy access to U-Bahn. We also appreciated the parking options in the backyard.
All in all a big recommendation, and we will defintely be back!"

My coworkers and I stayed for a week and everyone was so nice and helpful. It was wonderful to see the same employees throughout our stay because they remembered who you were and were so thoughtful. The property is an apartment style independent unit of older bigger units that were subdivided/converted, but are quite modern in design.
No face-to-face interaction with the host and you need to be able to call and mostly interact in German language with the off-site desk agent.
The agent was very friendly and once when I called and he was not available , I left a voicemail and the agent called within 15 minutes. And he solved my issues too.

This hotel is very nice and about 15 minutes from the sites of Berlin. We drove it one day and took the U the other day (about 3/4 mile walk to station). Walked to dinner each night, ate breakfast at McDonalds to save some money, and bought some groceries down the street at the market. The room was not Air Conditioned and it was warm. Street noise on front of building was pretty significant with windows open, but it was quiet with them closed the one night it was cool enough to close them....
During my last visit to Berlin I stayed in three different hotels, and by far hotel Atlantic was the most convenient.
Pros:
1- ten minute walk from subway and shopping mall.
Four minute walk from supermarket and McDonald's.
2- Free wireless Internet, fast enough to stream netflix.
3-Price of hotel is cheapest around and if you pay cash you might get a discount.

AMAZING! This is a 5 star boutique hotel masquerading as a 4 star hotel. This was our first trip to Berlin from NYC for 4 days. The hotel is located in the transitional, hip gay friendly Kreuzberg neighborhood. It felt chill and relaxed away from the tourist hoards in Mitte. Perfect stay in Berlin. Staff are so friendly and helpful, property in a great spot. So nice to have a kitchen and I thoroughly enjoyed my balcony on the river!
Everything was perfect.
There was one odd exception. We were 2 people in the room, 2 sinks in the bathroom, yet were rationed with one tube of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion for our 3 day stay. When I left the used tube open to have them notice it is empty, they closed it and put it back for the next day. So I bought the toiletries I needed.
It was only on our last day that we were paid an evening visit by the staff to rearrange the bed, add a towel and a sweet.

Very nicely appointed studio apartment with a lot of space. Location is central with quick access to the U and S trains at Potsdamer Platz. Excellent location for the Philharmonie and Kulturforum.
