The place to stay in Bilbao. Location? Right next to the Museum. Enjoy the Terrace and the great service throughout the Hotel. Rooms are very comfortable, including the ones with inner views.
I am in Bilbao frequently and know the town very well. I like the NH because it is in a clean, quiet neighborhood that is quite safe and frequented mostly by locals. Yet, it is just a few minutes walk to great restaurants, museums, etc. The bus stop is right outside, making a trip to Casco Viejo or other areas minutes away. The subway is a block or so away making a afternoon trip to the beach well within reach.

great hotel, clean, good location, but the heat was on when it was warm outside and I couldn't turn it off. I tried adjusting the thermostat and even turning on the air conditioning, but it just pumped out more hot air.
The staff was very accommodating! They helped us out with directions to nearby attractions, helped to reserve taxis, provided information about restaurants, etc. Our picnic breakfast was very good and traveled well too. This was a very pleasant stay.
This was a great hotel. I had booked it on a sale so the staff had to check it out as it was much lower than advertised. Good thing I had my paperwork with me. The room was great and quiet. It was in a good location near a bus stop. The breakfast included was amazing.
The hotel is worth the price you pay. Its location is close to the Bilbao bus terminal where you can arrive easily from Madrid in 4 hours. Using the "Autonomia" street you can walk to everywhere. Even you can walk to the city center and to the famous museum. I truly recommend this hotel. Kudos to Savier and the rest of front desk people. Excellent location! But if you booked last minute like me be aware that cars cannot drive up to the entrance. Our Uber passed the most convenient drop location and dropped us further away, so that was hard having to pull a lot of luggage pretty far. The tap water tastes great and very strong pressure.
