For the first time, I enjoyed a hotel room with a ten-foot ceiling, casement windows and four-ply toilet paper (good for wiping or a rough draft of your memoirs. The staff was friendly and attentive. "We left immediately. Unfortunately it was prepared so that money was lost, but save yourselves. We didn't want to touch anything. Stains were on curtains, walls, bedding, it was just gross. I went to another hotel about 10 minutes away that was cheaper (believe it or not) and it was so much nicer. Even if this was the only place in Leipzig that had a room, I would drive to another town!"
