The apartment was in a good location near to Liverpool Street station and lots of bars restaurants of Spitalfields. The 2 bedroom was large and comfortable however not very well maintened. 2 lamps did not work, 1 toilet did not flush and 1 toilet seat was broken. Limited cups in the kitchen but it had good kitchen facilities. So overall basic comfortable and large accommodation in good location.

We booked both the available rooms for a business trip in London. A double apartment and a single. It was difficult to gain entry with their being no concierge or up front instructions. Just a number to call which I did as I got to the property. I was then given very slow instructions of how to gain entry, but only once Id agreed to hand over further credit card details for a "deposit". Once in, the place felt modern and clean. Unfortunately, a toilet seat was broke in both apartments, one of the showers wouldnt drain and had no where to hang the shower head (see picture). Upon further inspection, the place needed some paintwork doing, no toiletries were provided and you could constantly hear a broken toilet flushing. The location is excellent if you work in the city but there are much better apartments available in the area

Arrived early evening, and flat was surrounded by drinkers as we were above a pub. It was a cacophony of noise, but after shutting all the windows, was not too bad. There were a few niggles. No toilet paper, or any soap provided. Bedside lights in both bedrooms not working, and a remote control in one of the bedrooms was missing. The bathroom was so dark, I was guessing as too how much makeup I was putting on! But the apartment was clean and in a good location and we had some excellent meals out. All very small complaints, easily sorted.

Although the flat is modern, it is need of lots of maintenance. It is located above a pub. Music and loud drunk people throughout the whole night, then delivery trucks start in the early morning. Had to push homeless people off step to get out in the morning.Stayed 5 nights without much sleep. No response from the company managing the flat. Had an emergency at 8 in morning, kitchen door broken and locked traveling partner in. Emergency number had a message to call emergency number. Many more issues, texted Smart City Apartments with maintenance issues, but got no response. Would never stay there again and would not recommend it.

Upon arrival it was very difficult to find but when we did eventually find it we phoned up to make a payment so we could get the code and keys for the flat. It was all a bit unprofessional and I was put on hold for over 10 minutes while they set up the payment (why it took so long I don't know!) Once we got in the flat the cleaner was over 50 minutes later finishing preparing the flat and was still finishing while we waited in there. The floor was still wet and after 2 minutes of waking around by white socks were black from how first the floor was (see photos). We also found the flat lacked some essentials such as normal glasses (only wine glasses available) and there was also no toilet roll!! Okay so now the bad is out the way the flat itself was really lovely, modern and light and in a great location. The price was very good for the night, especially for the location. Not sure I would stay again but for the price it wasn't too bad

This was an awful experience! We did not receive information on how to access the apartment. When I was finally able to get someone to answer the phone (hours before arrival) I was told that my booking was not confirmed bc they had not received payment from Hotels.com. They then told ME to call Hotels.com which I did and payment issue resolved. I was then told that someone would be there to help us at check-in. They asked what time we would be checking in and I told them 3pm. I was told not to worry, someone would be there. We get to the apartment and there's no one there AND no one answering the phone AND the voice mail is full. We are standing on the street with 2 small kids and all our luggage for almost 2 hours! It's 40 degrees and raining! We finally get in touch with the manager and he said he was out to get something to eat. He then tells us to call back in 5 minutes for access information. We call back and are told to give him 5 more minutes -call back. When we finally get into the apartment it is not clean - visible dust and dirt on all surfaces. The bedroom is so small you can barely walk to get to the other side of the bed. We couldn't sleep for the noise from the bars until 2am. If you want a quiet, clean room and good service - SKIP THIS PLACE!!
