Good bang for your buck

Good couple of nights for the price. Breakfast is a pretty good continental spread, but no hot meats. Fresh pancakes offered both days. Fairly bad sound proofing makes noise outside (from playground in our case) a bit irritating. Clean room and renovated bathrooms. Would book again for the very reasonable prices.

My husband and I stayed for 1 night, where we had arrived at around 7pm at Toppen af Ebeltoft. There was no one on the reception, but they had left a number which we could call if we had questions and otherwise there was self check in where the key was available at the counter. The kitchen was ready to help us with some food when we got hungry later that evening with some delicious lasagna with salad and bread. The bedroom was why we had expected with a hug view of the natural biodiverse grass and plants outside. The beds were soft and comfortable and towels clean. It was a very comfortable bedroom. The breakfast the next day was delicious with some lovely cheese and warm freshly baked buns and delicious coffee. All in all this was a great experience and we would definitely recommend and want to come and stay ourselves.

Dagen før ankomst modtager vi en mail om der vil være personale ved indcheckning, vi forespurgte på at få nøgle før tid på mail, intet svar. Ved ankomst til tiden var der intet personale men en kuvert med nøgle og info om morgenmad fra 7.30-930, vanvittigt kort slut af servering Slukket for varmen på værelset, så vi kom til et møg koldt værelse. Stengulv i badeværelset var iskoldt, så man ikke engang kunne holde ud af stå og børstetænder på strømpesokker. Morgenmaden varer kun til 9.30, normale omstændigheder ville det måske være ok, men på nytårsdag fungerede det ikke med møg trætte børn, der var alligevel intet personale i restauranten og kaffemaskinen virkede ikke. Ved udcheckning måtte vi ringe efter personale fra privat tlf for at få afleveret nøglen. Intet service niveau overhovedet! Værelse rent og uden lugt men gangen lugtede af fugt og kælder

Stedet har den mest fantastiske udsigt over Ebeltoft og Mols Bjerge. Værelset var rummeligt og rent og pænt. Vi kan lide politikken om ingen biler på 'gårdspladsen', men den blev desværre ikke overholdt. Der var også forskel på udbuddet og kvaliteten af morgenmaden fra den ene dag til den anden, hvilket vi undrede os lidt over.
