Staying here was very pleasant.
After checking in, we reserved one of the private baths (Reservations are for 45 minutes, and one reservation can be made at a time,) and headed down to the town to walk around. The walk from the hotel to the station at the bottom/central area of town is about ten or fifteen minutes. The town has small shops with local treats, but we only walked around it for two hours and felt like we weren't missing anything major.
The private baths are in their own secluded...
This is an excellent, upscale property that really takes good care of guests. The room we stayed in was very large, especially compared to normal Japanese hotels. The hot spring is well maintained, and the dinner was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.
Our stay at the Negiya Ryofukaku was nothing short of excellent. The staff were very professional and polite, accommodating both our very limited Japanese language skills and our request for a larger yukata (I'm apparently taller than the average guest). They do have english-speakers on staff, and the guide who walked us through the hotel's facilities and amenities was kind enough to explain everything in both Japanese and English, as we were trying to learn as much of the former and speak as...
Excellent location. Unique hotel with impressive design. Extremely clean. Ocean view rooms are worse the price. Very accommodating staff. The breakfast buffet is excellent and appealing to everyone.
Must take the train car (not covered by JR) to this location from JR Sannomiya Station. 10 minute walk up a steep hill from the Arimaonsen Station to the hotel. Everyone at the hotel was very nice and accommodating. Spoke English well enough to check in and get help that we needed. Offered hotel room and onsen instructions in English. My room had a private onsen in the restroom so I didn't need to be concerned with using the 7F public onsen. They provide a private onsen to be rented/booked for a...
What an amazing experience at this place, I couldn’t recommend it more! The location up on Mount Rokko is stunning. You get beautiful nature and great views, as well as not many people up here. You really feel like you’re in nature; such a. cool stay. It’s also super easy to get to, a 1 minute walk from the cable star station.
The stay itself is also amazing. The design of the place you stay in is super cool, I loved the tree house design it was awesome! The traditional Japanese lounge/café...
The rooms were very clean and the staff was great! We stayed for 10 days and didn't ask for cleaning, but the staff left clean towels and room wear each night at our door. There is only 2 laundry machines, but there is a QR code to see when the machines are available to use which was very helpful. The detergent is included, so you don't need to bring your own. Very easy to check in and check out! We delivered our suitcases to the hotel from the airport. They unfortunately didn't allow us to...
This is in the bustling area of Sannomiya and a quick 5 minute walk to the train station. Super convenient, clean, and affordable. I saw both local and international tourists during our stay. All the staff were great!
I liked the washer and dryer and breakfast buffet.
My only feedback would be to leave the free toothbrushes and pjs in the lobby for people to pick up if they need it - I felt bad they kept replenishing our supply of both in our rooms.
I will stay here again and would recommend...
