A great few days staying close to family. Great connections to both bus and tube into the city. Lots of choice for breakfast and our room was spacious and comfortable. Area was a tad run down, but very close to the park.

The staff were helpful giving directions. The breakfast was good. The area had limited restaurants and there was nothing to see as it was a business district. I chose it as it was marginally cheaper than other places that didn’t have gym facilities, it had promised a spa but that wasn’t functional, locked with promise of repair.

They couldn't find my booking in the system. It was very late and my documents showing dates, address of hotel and confirmed payment were not enough. I had to contact my agency at night which were unavailable. They offered no help until I paid for a new room an hour later. My sleep was ruined. I felt treated like a criminal. The next day other staff were much more pleasant and willing to help. They found that the reservation was mixed with someone else and I got my money back from the extra night. However it was a very negative first experience which they should have avoided. I almost changed hotel because of it.
