Great price and great stay. Clean and spacious room, wonderful bed, closet for hanging clothes, updated bathroom and tile shower. An oasis feeling in dense population area.

This was a perfect one night stay to Watch NHL hockey at SAP Center. Just a 15 min walk to the arena. Nice with parking included right outside the room. Service was great! On the downside, the room felt old and was very ”simple”. But overall a great place for a night.

Parking is good if you book early. The room was very clean. No WiFi!!. My key card failed I had to back to the office couple of times to reset it. Overall Good just makes sure you have a good hotspot reception. Also no cable tv doesn’t work.

Great overnight stay for a closeby concert.

I had a lovely overnight stay at the Alameda. They let me check-in 3 hours early for a small fee so I could get ready for an afternoon event. The property was easily accessible. The staff were super kind. The room was clean, spacious, and had a huge bathroom. The hotel is situated just a 15-minute walk from the SAP Center and the neighborhood is super safe. Walked back at night without any worry. No complaints whatsoever. I will definitely stay there again next time I'm in San Jose.

Clean and friendly motel

Me and my good friend have stayed here for some time. The motel employees are friendly and understanding. Pricing is good. They keep the rooms very clean and take out the mattress and clean them.

The Alameda is a true hidden gem. Located in the heart of the Alameda strip with lots of things and walking distance the room was simple clean updated bathroom microwave and mini fridge. And ice machine outside the room. This area is kinda of pricey so was very grateful to have come across this place and on top of it I was like two minutes from Starbucks five guys a nice massage parlor, subway, and the list goes on. Very pleased with the guest service I couldn’t work the heater and staff came fast to make it right same for the tv the customer service was superb definitely staying at the Alameda.

No vending machines, no food, breakfast was very nominal, coffee, juicy, bulk yogurt in bowl, cereal and breakfast breads.

Nice place

An impromptu stay and I ecided to stay here and walk to the Sharks game. Check in was fast. The room was nice. The tv remote needed to be cleaned, it looked like food was on it so I did that. Everything else was clean so I didn't deduct a star for 1 tiny thing. The bed was comfortable. It was nice to be able to park literally outside the room since it was raining. The walk to the arena wasn't too long. Definitely would stay again the next time I want to go to a Sharks game. (App still not letting me add photos)

I loved it! Look it’s not anything beautiful on the inside but the inside of the rooms was great for what I paid ! I love how we were able to park RIGHT next to our motel door and the location of the hotel is great. I wanted something next to the stadium and didn’t want to pay $400 for those other hotels. I paid such a low price here. So for what I paid, I was extremely satisfied !

Dirty Towels when i arrived, then when it came time to check out after 2 payed nights the Owner or older gentlemen was pounding on my door at 10:25 telling me it was time to go. Check out time is 11:00am. Ill have to find another place to stay when i visit SJ. I visit 2xs a month.

Everything was clean and new but soulless. They provided a fridge and a microwave. No coffee maker, nor was coffee provided on site. I was told that coffee and food was available near by. I would stay there again but it wouldn’t be my first choice.
Pamela, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

It after having to wait at least five minutes For someone to come to the door and then take my information down. It took maybe 10 minutes for everything once I walked to my room and open up the door. There was a little smell over to the room every single step I took the floor was making some noise And they didn’t have a remote controller for me for the TV and also there were no towels at all so next day in the morning when I checked out, I made sure to let them know that you did not leave a remote control and no towels and the only thing he said was sorry I’ll talk to housekeeping. I don’t think I would stay there again

This place wasn't to my expectation of a nice place. I was in the parking lot one night and this guy that didn't even stay there was in a car looking for somebody that stole his vehicle out of that parking lot. He stayed there all night and offered to watch my woman's car which was nice of him but that's kind of weird you know what you think? We got kicked out because the neighbors called the front desk and said we were being too loud but there was no noise there was nothing going on in our room it was just me there and my girlfriend was out working and it was just really inconvenient thing to do to somebody and really not too nice because I didn't do anything. The manager came and told me that he was going to call the police if I did did it again and I'm like what did I do? I would not come here because it is not like a good place to go when I made the reservation I asked for a queen size bed and it gave me a full. No remote for the TV. Roaches and bugs everywhere. Go find a better place to stay don't stay here
James, 1-night trip

They first gave me a room next to some very loud guests, before giving me a another room by the very loud ice machine. Hopefully, I won't be staying at this Motel again, especially with no in-room coffee makers.

I requested a wheelchair accessible room and they dont even have them like the website said. When we arrived there was a car in the only disabled parking spot with no disabled plates or placard so parked in the next spot. The desk clerk got out of the car asked if checking in and met us behind the counter. Then the wheelchair ramp was blocked with ladders hoses and cables so i couldnt get into the office. Then i couldnt park in front of my room because a big truck was parked there with a man sitting inside and both female maids talking to him. They even refused to move off the walkway so we could enter the room. Then to get into the room there was steps so i had to get help getting into the room. Once in the room it is NOTHING as discribed or oicturedsteps

Rooms are extremely clean. Very quiet lot. Parking available in front of the room. Building just painted. Front desk personnel very accommodating.

You get what you pay for.

The owners were kind of rude to me when I was checking in. They themselves did not have access to my booking on hotels.com. They had a heavy accent, so I needed them to repeat things, and they would raise their voice continuously. Once I got my card I was walking ou,t and instead of telling me to enjoy my stay, one of the owners yelled at me, "NO SMOKING," even though I had 0 plans to smoke, maybe it was just because I look a little younger, still feel like it was really weird of them to do that though. Showed me the wifi password which ended up being wrong and I had to play a guessing game. The following day I came back to my room and someone had come in and cleaned even though I did NOT ask for that. It made me feel pretty weird as I was not told this would happen. Honestly, avoid this place; spend the extra couple of dollars to stay somewhere nicer.

It was good, clean but the room had smell like pee. Maybe from the solution used to clean or the mop not rinsed well before using.
