We recently enjoyed a two-day stay at this lovely property, drawn by its panoramic views and historic charm. While the location certainly delivered, offering beautiful sunrises and a generally pleasant atmosphere, our initial room experience was far from ideal.
Upon checking into our "Panoramic Room," we were surprised to find no air conditioning. Given the hot weather, the room was uncomfortably humid and warm. A single fan provided in the room was simply insufficient to cool the space, and with a small baby accompanying us, this was a significant concern.
We immediately contacted reception to request a room change, explaining our discomfort. Unfortunately, we were informed that the hotel was fully booked. Opening the window for ventilation was not a viable solution, as flying insects quickly became an issue. We endured a very difficult first night due to the heat.
Thankfully, on the second day, the hotel provided a portable air conditioner, which offered much-needed relief. While the overall experience with the property's location and ambiance was good, the initial lack of air conditioning and the difficulty we faced on the first night was quite disappointing.
