Stayed for 2 nights with my wife. In a comfy room which had been refurbished. The room was compact but unless you were planning to spend a whole day in the room, it was perfect for sleeping and getting ready for the day. We were greeted by a very friendly receptionist who showed us to our room and explained the facilities and was really friendly along with the other staff throughout our stay. Nothing was too much bother and were always willing to help. The room was clean and the bed very comfy and had two fantastic nights sleep. Breakfast was good with quick service. Parking on site and ample. Only a 10 min walk if that to the town itself. Would defo recommend this B&B.

Great location for Ambleside and the Lakes in general (you can get buses, to other Lake District towns, from Ambleside so can park up and leave the car at hotel). Really friendly helpful staff. Definitely would stay again if in area.

We had a lovely couple of nights here in November. The place is very clean, comfortable and quiet, close to the centre of Ambleside and the owner and staff made us feel very welcome.

Newly refurbished room with a comfortable bed, provided toiletries and tea/coffee making facilities. Great fresh breakfast selection of both hot and cold items. Victor and Joanna friendly and helpful both before visit answering questions and also during stay. Very kindly provided complimentary Birthday gift for partner. Great location with free off road parking. Overall a fantastic Guest House which we will definitely return to!
