Modest hotel, good price - quality ratio

I arrived late at night. Everyone was nice, and most of the staff could speak Spanish and English in addition to their native Portuguese. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The place looked a little old, but that’s not a bad thing to me because, as I said, they were clean and comfortable. I’ll stay there in a future visit to Rio.

Only one elevator was working. Since there are 13 floors and people going on and off, you had to wait a very long time to use it. Not very clean with the toilet paper being stained upon arrival. The staff was not helpful either.

HARD STAY @ SOFT OPENING

The hotel was very centrally located in the city center. The check in process was fairly easy so I was optimistic because the lobby looked pretty clean and modern. at first glance, The room looked clean and tidy. But there were numerous thinigs in need of repair or replacing. Most noteably, the beds. Both "double beds" mattresses were tattered, torn and riddles with holes, which wasn't hard to see because the only bedding was twin size mattress pad under a tucked flat sheet, and a second flat sheet. two black accent pillow that (without a black light) had visible crusted stains on both! In the closet was an additional, dingy white "comforter" that had seen better days and was stained. The pool, was cloudy and merky, but the bartender Fabio was amazing. The food at the restaurant was amazing but the fried chicken turned me off when I tore off a piece and busted a vein. Ew. All in all, for rhis to be a "SOFT OPENING", there were too many things unfinished and ill maintained to open soft or hard.

Pessimo custo benefício Um cheiro forte de cloro dentro do quarto, porém banheiro sujo mal lavado (não sei onde tanto jogaram cloro, mas pra limpar não deve ter sido) Elevador sem funcionar, apenas dois funcionando causando transtorno já q se trata de um hotel com 13 andares O salão do café da manhã fica parecendo o bandejão de escola pública da hora do café pois não comporta a quantidade de pessoas q se hospedam, os utensílios vão acabando e não são repostos rápido Estacionamento ofertado para hóspedes absurdamente caro e não tinha vaga A área da piscina só abre às 10 h da manhã (e o check in é às 11 h), subimos as 10 h e só chegou funcionário para abrir o espaço às 10:30 h A piscina é bem pequena para o tamanho do hotel Enfim, não vale a pena A maioria dos funcionários trabalhando de má vontade, parecendo estar te fazendo um favor ao te atender Infra estrutura de prédio bem velho precisando urgente de uma reforma
