Osaka and related destinations
Between the neon-lit Dotonbori district and majestic Osaka Castle lies a city that takes food more seriously than most nations take foreign policy. The covered arcades of Nipponbashi offer everything from manga to electronics, while locals debate which street vendor makes the definitive takoyaki. Universal Studios Japan delivers theme park thrills, but the real adventure happens at Kuromon Market where vendors slice fish with surgical precision. The Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan houses whale sharks in tanks so vast you'll question your place in the universe. After dark, join salary men unwinding over kushikatsu – deep-fried skewers that demand respect for the 'no double-dipping' rule.

Candeo Hotels Osaka The Tower
"Clean hotel with nice rooms and great staff. Amazing views, amazing onsen. The elevator switch, having to bring your room towels to the onsen, were both a bit annoying. Subway very close, Lawsons right below. Recommended place to stay."
APA Hotel Namba Ekihigashi
"Ok good"
Hotel Monterey Grasmere Osaka
"Great location. Nice rooms and pajamas included. Luggage forwarding was an easy process at the front desk."
Namba Oriental Hotel
"Enjoyed a 3 nights stay here. The hotel is well located, next to shops, restaurants and the train station. On the negative side, it was a very busy hotel, check in at 3pm had a long queue, but staff did their best to move people along. Our floor was non smoking but the carpets in the corridors were very stained and a smoke stench everywhere. The rooms were quite small, with not much of a view. On the positive side, the lounge with free drinks was great, the free laundry room was very useful and we enjoyed the best breakfast at the hotel buffet, so delicious, especially the French toast, pork curry and fresh fruit. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I'd recommend this hotel."
Hotel Forza Osaka Kitahama
"Clean but small room, it’s ok"
APA Hotel & Resort Osaka Namba Ekimae Tower

Hotel Intergate Osaka Umeda
"Hotel staff were friendly. Room was clean. The breakfast could have been better. Restaurants close by."
The Royal Park Hotel Iconic Osaka Midosuji

karaksa hotel grande Shin-Osaka Tower
"Asked a front desk staff to write down the name and address of a restaurant in Japanese that we can give it to the driver and called us a taxi. He instead took us to the front door and gave the information to the driver. That's great service."
