Ingrid at reception was fantastic in helping us with keeping the room and transferring from one reservation to the next. The room was fine, but the elevator lobby and corridors were filthy, aged and worn out.The sky bar is worth a visit.

Great location. Not in the crowded center but very easy walk to center. Nice having the Palace gardens a few minutes away. The A/C was much appreciated as it was quite hot. Highly recommend a room with views of the fjords. A wonderful stay.

We staying 3 nights plus another 2 nights in this hotel. Great place to stay, very close to all amenities, bus transit from airport to airport just right at front door, metro line and all bus connection just right behind the building. Walking distance to city. Our room was so nice and comfortable and we got upgrade to premium room which locate at 21dt floor with great view. Very special thanks to the staff for their service and helpfulness. Great swimming pool, spa and gym which open from 5am to 11pm. Breakfast was great. Next traveling to oslo we will definitely comeback to stay here. Highly recommended..... !

Room spacious and clean- Minimal room service-beds not made daily and no simple comfort. As Kettle and teabags were provided, no milk or spoons. Mini-Bar Fridge but empty- Carpets in corridors stained and in need of updating. Breakfast had a good selection and a good timeframe for eating. Swimming pool unattended- no attendance , so teenagers jumping and throwing others into the pool- which is small size- left me swimming across the short Centre of the pool - Disappointed in the Upper bar, as only opened at 4pm. Unable to enjoy the views of the City as they claimed were spectacular- in November it started to go dark, so not clearly visible - the Christmas lights were nice to see in the city Centre. Overall a quite hotel for its size, heating good, but could be stuffy at night, air con to noisy to keep on - Simple -basic-good price as included buffet breakfast- Drinks as in most hotels experience and very over priced.

This hotel is in an excellent location, walkable to restaurants and major attractions. The room was comfortable, quality linens, good toiletries. *NOTE: there is no coffee maker in the room. The staff is excellent with the exception of the waiter in charge of the restaurant. We asked to move to another table and he rudely refused. He needs training in customer service. Because of him, we chose not to eat in the restaurant for the remainder of our stay, even though we had a 20% discount.

We stayed same grade two twin rooms for 4 members. One of the twin room didn’t have enough towels and coffee machines like the others. We requested some of them but no room keep services so we had to go to the reception. Stuff are friendly but they didn’t share the information about us so we had to ask many times about our situation.

Great hotel

This is a great hotel. Pricy for sure. But one major error has me fuming. We were three couples (my two grown children with spouses, plus my husband and me). We each gave the desk ou4 own credit cards. But they ended up charging my son’s room on my card, in addition to my own. That’s almost $700 on my card which I have to now deal with to get reversed. My son has tried to no avail. Also overnight parking is ridiculously expensive. We really shouldn’t have bothered with rental cars after all. The city sightseeing buses are a 5 min walk away through the park. The view from the bar is phenomenal.
