4/10 Fair
May 6, 2019
** standard
strong points:
- perfect location (800m to railway station, Moltawa, WWII Museum, within perimeter of old downtown)
- shops and restaurants around
- new tiles in bathroom, recently painted
weak points:
- problems with fungus in 2 rooms
- problems with run off water in shower (it cannot be used due to flood threat)
- no place for washing hands in WC
- only a tiny sink in the bathroom
- place to eat for 1 person only (a corner with a bar stool)
- pillows and quilts - the most cheap ones from a cheap chain shop (quilt too small and too cold), pillows for less than 3EUR offer comfort corresponding to the price
Stated as an apartment for up to 10 people. In reality 3 rooms: 1 small room with a double bed, 1 room with a double bed and a couch, 1 bigger room with a double bed, a couch and TV set.
No sitting area, no table, etc.
5 couples can sleep there, but then it is a hostel standard.
The pictures are misleading. Everything has been arranged for photos only.
The apartment has not been really cleaned upon arrival. 2 Pillows and 1 quilt were missing,
2 roles of toilet paper for 8 people for 5 days. WIFI password obtained after strong pressure.
3 keys for 4 couples (let me cite the stuff guy: "in principle we give only 1 key per apartment, 3 keys
is an exception"). Copying a key costs peanuts in Gdansk, but still they have refused.
They have insisted on paying cleaning fee even if we had to clean the rooms ourselves when moving in.
