"The rooms were big with a large bathroom and shower. Two beds pushed together to make one large bed. Bed was very comfortable. Linen was very comfortable as well. Each room has its own dedicated wifi which is the best I ever had in Lilongwe. Loved the monkeys that seem to have the run of the place at times. Makes for a great show. Had my morning coffee on the front porch while the monkeys gave me a wonderful show. Breakfast

"This was one of the best stays I have had anywhere. The house is clean, very peaceful and quiet and you can hear the birds in trees in the garden. The rooms are a good size, well appointed and the beds are exceptionally comfortable. The shower is good and toiletries are provided. There a blackout curtains and mosquito screens on the windows and nets around the beds. They also off a laundry service for any of your clothes and a desk in your room where you can work. "I had a comfortable stay at Sunbird Capital. Although the rooms are quite old, they are well maintained. The grounds are very well maintained and beautiful, it was a delight to have my evening walks. The hotel is in a safe part of the city so it was easy to have walks and jogs nearby the hotel. I may not have enjoyed the meals for the most part, but the traditional lunch buffet on Thursdays was excellent."

"The Green Elephant is stunning. Conveniently located (if you have transport) for getting around Lilongwe but not directly in the middle. The staff are relaxed, friendly and professional and helped every day. They made me special vegetarian options on request, and let me help myself to other foods. The furnishings are top notch.
