Highly recommend this property.

The castle is absolutely beautiful, the staff are great, and uts a freaking castle in the mountains of Italy! The AC didn't work, luckily the weather was great, but July/august could be rough. Day trips to Assisi and Orvieto were amazing, but you must have a rental car. Breakfast was very good. The spa was good. The room was small, but the view made up for it.

They provided us with excellent food even though we arrived late which was delicious The staff spoke good English and many more languages. The view are amazing the village quint They do not have shuttle to airport

Amazing place to stay! It is the little things that make this place one of a kind: like two suitcase stands in the room. The service felt like they were full time career professionals that felt like they really cared about the place and the hospitality. Dinner and breakfast was amazing! Great Hotel, clean, very nice food, fantastic wine and very comfortable. We loved stay there!

The hotel was tucked away in a small town just outside of Montefalco. The rooms (including bathroom) were very large and decorated to the hilt. The owner makes the pastries (about 6-8) every morning. They have a wonderful dog, Pepo on premises which is very friendly and affectionate. We tried the restaurant and it was good as well. Service was impeccable

The service was excellent and very friendly. Staff assisted with winery visit bookings and dinner recommendations and bookings. Room was spacious and well appointed. The only negative was the housekeeping staff failed to stock toilet paper and soap so requests had to be made when we ran out. Castello Di Monterone is a small castle that has outfitted into an 11-12 room hotel. The rooms are small but comfortable with high quality bathrooms, windows, etc. There are lots of little alcoves, inside and out, to hole up in. We stayed at the Villa Raffaello Park for 3 nights. The staff was friendly, accommodating and very helpful. The hotel was an easy 15 minute drive to Assisi.

The reception and service staff were very friendly, helpful, and kind. The rooms are clean and very spacious. I was delighted to learn that Pope Saint John Paul II slept in this place when it was still a religious site. If you are looking for a luxury hotel, this is not for you. If you want a place that is clean, comfortable and offers peace and tranquility near Perugia, Assisi, Spoleto, Spello, … this place is perfect! It also has parking on site.

Beautiful hotel, excellent staff, amazing food, QUIET. Sitting in the hot tub amidst the ruins of a Roman amphitheater was beyond all great travel experiences. Excellent chef, with a respectful eye towards organic and local tradition. Restaurant is a bit expensive, but far superior to the tourist restaurants in the center. Beautiful breakfast buffet, homemade pastries, and bread like bread should be made. The experience is worth every penny.
