Clean, quiet and convenient location

This hotel is located in the Piraeus Port area, so you experience the ambiance of an active port and big city, yet far enough away that our street was remarkably quiet. It was close to our cruise ship terminal (gate), which was a priority for us. Transportation to terminal was included in the room charge. We received door to door service. Pleasantly surprised. Nikolas was excellent. Check in and check out was easy. They let us store our luggage until the afternoon since our flight was at night. They even called a taxi for us. Area could be a little noisy at night. Would consider staying here again.

Excellent location for walkable dining, shopping, and ancient ruins. Book a room in the “hotel” with a balcony not the “residences” if you want a peekaboo view of the Acropolis. Bathroom very modern and comfortable but be aware that only a glass door with gauzy curtains separates you from anyone you share the room with. Also the entrance is on Karoni Street, around the corner from 39 Aiolou Street which some booking sites list as the address.

Convenience is key! I have a cruise at Piraeus. Booked this for two reasons - straight shot taking the M3 from Athens airport on the Metro train, and walking distance (5 minutes) from the Metro. Small room, but clean and only needed to rest before the cruise the next day.

Beautiful property and very convenient for an overnight stay before going to the airport the next day. Staff member Katerina was very helpful and kind. She provided recommendations and checked in with us regularly. We would highly recommend this hotel stay.

The Moxy Athens is fantastic! The staff was exceptional across the board. The communal spaces are inviting and enhance the overall experience. The location (on the second largest square in Athens) is convenient. The rooms are brand new, clean and well designed (with the exception of a lack of storage space). It was perfect for our two day stay!

Wonderful hotel, with amazing views of the Acropolis.

We enjoyed the breakfast. Moreover, the beds were comfortable. The hotel employees at the reception, breakfast area and house keeping were very polite and efficient. Also, the hotel is near the Athens metro station Acropolis and major archeological sight seeing treasures such as the Acropolis and the Olympian Zeus Columns.

My husband and I just stayed at this hotel and we absolutely loved it!!! It was so close to everything so we could just walk around! We went to their spa downstairs and had a wonderful massage/facial. The room was so modern and nice. The staff were so helpful and friendly. While the room was very clean, the window had been left open and there is a mosquito problem at the port of Pireaus. They chewed me up as I lay their trying to swat them away, ultimately affecting my sleep.

It was a one night stay for us at the hotel and it was wonderful. The location is very central to all important locations in the city and also the airport bus stop at Syntagma. The breakfast was also really good and tasty. The room and bathroom was little small but that is expected in a hotel so central in an old city like Athens.

This place was great. Stayed 2 night. The MOST comfortable bed we slept in the entire time we were in Greece. Slippers and robe were provided as well. The room was the largest one we stayed in as well and we stayed in 4 different pensions/hotels. The lounge chairs at the pool were as comfortable as the bed, I wanted to just stay there all day! Very nice hotel with new lobby and refurbished rooms. Our first room had a non-functioning A/C. Hotel staff was there within two minutes to fix it. Unfortunately they couldn't, so they called the lobby to get us a new room, went and got the key, and took us to an upgraded room. It was a pain, but the staff was incredibly professional and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was awesome and quickly restocked even though very busy. Marathon Beach Hotel was wonderful! They have done a lovely job renovating and old standard into a stylish, modern and welcoming shelter in the current Greek storm. The design of the renovation is fresh and clean, the staff was extremely helpful and attentive and the breakfast was excellent. And I can't forget the large, lovely (salt water❤️❤️❤️) pool!
