A really good choice if you want to explore Athens. The hotel is very well located, around 100 metres from Adrianou in one direction, with its tourist shops and jewellery boutiques winding all the way towards the Acropolis, and a similar distance from the flea market and the surrounding squares filled with restaurants in the other. The rooms were perfectly fine: functional, comfortable and nothing exceptional, but equally very little to fault. Breakfast was extensive and typical of this kind of hotel, with yoghurt, fruit, pastries, Greek salad, cereals and a selection of hot options. Coffee came from a machine, but it made a perfectly decent double espresso. The lifts were quick and efficient, which is always appreciated, but the highlight was the rooftop terrace. It has an uninterrupted view of the Parthenon and, after breakfast, we took our coffees up there and simply sat for a while taking it all in.

Gostei da localização do hotel, que é um dos seus pontos fortes. O café da manhã é razoável e atendeu às expectativas. No entanto, alguns aspectos poderiam ser melhorados. Quando chegamos, a recepcionista loira que nos atendeu no primeiro dia não foi muito delicada no atendimento, passando uma impressão de certa falta de cordialidade. Outro ponto que me preocupou foi o controle das bagagens. As malas ficam em um local onde qualquer pessoa pode entrar e retirá-las, sem conferência por etiquetas ou qualquer outro tipo de controle. Além disso, o acesso não é restrito apenas aos funcionários, o que transmite uma sensação de desorganização e insegurança. Acredito que esse é um aspecto importante que o hotel deveria rever para oferecer mais tranquilidade aos hóspedes.

Otroligt centralt hotell med en härlig takbar och hotellrum som har allt man behöver. Väljer man ett rum med utsikt mot Akropolis är utsikten verkligen fantastisk. Det som drar ner helhetsbetyget är frukosten. Utbudet av varma rätter var begränsat och kvaliteten lämnade en del att önska. Äggröran smakade tydligt som pulverägg och mycket av det övriga på buffén kändes färdigköpt snarare än nylagat eller färskt. Är man från ett land med stark frukostkultur kan man därför bli besviken. Samtidigt är hotellet prisvärt, och med tanke på det fantastiska läget finns det gott om trevliga restauranger och caféer inom några minuters promenad. Jag skulle gärna bo här igen, men då välja att äta frukost på stan i stället.

This hotel was central to shopping , markets, restaurants. Rooftop terrace had magnificent view of Acropolis. Nice breakfast & Eva was particularly welcoming & helpful. Rooms were cleaned promptly & to a good standard. Only negative was street noise from outside restaurants till early hours of the morning made it difficult to sleep but perhaps the rooms on the other side of hotel would be quieter.

Location is terrific. Our second time staying at The Plaka. Breakfast was plentiful and good. The restaurant on the roof was excellent. The front staff were just ok. The room had no amenities, not even tissues. The room is very dark, lighting poor. No chairs on small balcony. The bathroom was also dark, the tiles in the shower were cracked, but great water pressure for showering. The beds were very comfortable with great blankets. A/C worked well. The desk clerk came around each morning at breakfast to be sure we had plans for the day and offered help if needed. They called for a taxi for us to go to pier. 2 small elevators are available. Overall the location is the best and the hotel is comfortable and clean
