I stayed in room 2 at the Phyllis Court Club the night before the start of Henley Royal Regatta. Room 2 overlooks the finish line of the regatta course. Luckily, it had cooled down from earlier in the week, as the rooms themselves are not air conditioned. I had a great full English breakfast in the Orangerie (a greenhouse dining room overlooking the river) the next morning. The bath is very well fitted, and the mattress is quite comfortable. The Phyllis Court Club is within walking distance of...
Big clean room, great comfy bed. Blackout blinds and quiet room ensured a great nights sleep. Full breakfast in the dining room or a light bite at the on premise Starbucks.
My husband and I stayed at this hotel 17-19 May and were greatly impressed by the hotel and in particular the staff and service they provided at this property. From the moment we were checked in by Erica and checked out by Nimisha the service was flawless. Every staff member was immaculately groomed and excellent ambassadors for the hotel. We were at the end of a ten day driving holiday around England and the staff, service and food at this property was of an excellent standard. Having worked in...
Stayed one night after a long drive through France and a ferry crossing, just to break up the journey. Arrived with tired kids and weary parents. The staff could not have been more pleasant and helpful, the room was a good size and with good amenities. Breakfast was delicious. Overall, very impressed indeed. Far exceeded my expectations. Would definately stay again. Thank you Holiday Inn.
The staff make this old pub a unique experience: from check in, breakfast and the late check out offered by the room-cleaner, everyone treats visitors as special guests.
Truly excellent hotel with fantastic service. Food was best I have had in a hotel for years. Room was small but very well appointed and spotless. This is probably one of the best hotels to stay in Oxford. Well located, just a short walk to the city center.
