"Had a fantastic overnight stay, when we arrived our room that we booked wasn’t ready however we were upgraded to a Hotel suite with the only difference being we wouldn’t have a kitchenette. Check in process was easy, you have to pay £13.95 for parking at the hotel however we parked round the back where you only get 45mins however as it was a Saturday afternoon was able to park there overnight. We also got a complimentary token for an arrival drink as it was our anniversary which was a really nice touch from the reception staff. The room was nice and clean, comfortable and had all the amenities you needed including complimentary soft drinks, coffee facilities. Nice big walk in shower. Very close walking distance to Dundee City. Breakfast was okay, lots of food and variety however cooked breakfast was warm and ran out of hash browns, ordered fried egg however finished breakfast before it came, then they put out hash browns later. Muffins were nice and coffee was okay for a bean to cup machine. Would recommend to friends and family. "
"Lovely please. We checked in late but we had all the instructions left out for us and then a lady came to find us to tell us what was what. The rooms were very comfortable, lots of tea and coffee. And then the bonus, there was a shared area where they had free tea, coffee, milk, fruit juice, cereals. All for us to enjoy. Would definitely recommend and if we are in the area again, we will be staying here. Fantastic place "
"Can't recommend the hotel highly enough. The room was wonderful with some lovely imaginative decorative touches - particularly the Dundee Cake recipe! Staff were all really friendly, and when they found that we were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary we received a couple of complimentary drinks too. It's those little touches that really make the difference.
We will without doubt be back next time we visit Dundee."
"We didn’t really eat there but they were kind enough to fill our water bottles with ice each morning and night. Internet was fine. Loved having the train station, bus stop and restaurants steps from the front door - perfect location for us. We used the Lounge every night after our walk back from dinner. "
"Great Hotel, clean, comfortable bed.
Good location. Busy bar at the weekend we there there, but did not disturb the room.
Nice walk along seafront & golf courses near by. "
"Our stay at the Hampton City Centre Dundee was wonderful. All staff we interacted with were very friendly and very helpful. Any requests we had were met with no hesitation- from baggage storage until we could check in, to storing our take away food containers until we were ready to eat. They provided us with information regarding tours and things to do and see during our stay. The room was excellent and well maintained. We would recommend this property to anyone looking to find accommodation in the area ! "
