There was a wall mounted TV and a fridge (hidden away in a closet). The bathroom was excellent, with a large walk-in shower with rain and flexible options.
On-site, there is an excellent indoor leisure facility comprising 10m x 5m pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, showers and ex.

"Pretty hotel in the centre of Cognac. We stayed two nights and the staff was friendlyand helpful. Had breakfast the second day and that was good. Nice walking distance to everything. Paid a short visit to the spa area where we had the whole place to ourselves."

"Quite special experience of ‘French Rustic’. Very well done and presented. All necessary facilities and comprehensive self catering equipment provided. Breakfast included, was most enjoyable and offered considerable choice of items.
This proved an excellent country stay and well worth trying, but double check route plan - not terribly easy!"

"This B&B is easy to find by foot on Rue de Jardins. It's a 14th century townhouse owned by an American expat family. Armand is bilingual and very informative regarding the sites to see in Saintes. She is also a delightful and attentive host, and a textile artisan to boot! My room was ample in size, rustic with a beamed ceiling, and a sizeable in-suite bathroom. Breakfast was served in her wonderful garden, in the shadow of Saint-Pierre Cathedral. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks...
