Amazing staff. Luxurious hotel. Free parking. Spacious room with a nice view of lake Fuschl (Grand Deluxe Room) if you can afford an upgrade definitely go with it. Spa facilities are a must try, they have an indoor pool, sauna, whirlpool, steam room, as well as massage therapy. Dining is expensive as expected in such places. In short it was a great experience to stay in this castle if you have the opportunity to spend a couple of days here don't miss it.
This was just an all around excellent stop outside of Salzburg. The village was one of the nicest I've seen in Europe. Don't miss the cemetery, it's beautiful.
I thought I was booking an inexpensive hotel conveniently located near the highway. This place far exceeded my expectations: this hotel could be a destination in itself. The swimming pools (in and out), the grounds, the decor (handcrafted, unusual furniture).....and the breakfast! Fabulous.

Leopoldskron was a highlight of a 6 country/7 hotel trip. Friendly staff, beautiful property, and easy access to old town via car or taxi (typically about 10 euro each way). This is a fantastic place. Has the old world charm and yet with all the amenities inside the room that makes your stay comfortable. The room was very quiet and we had some good view of the town. It's in a historical part of the city (though not in old town) and at a few minutes walking distance from all main attractions , the Mirabell palace and from the start of the Sound of Music tour.
The hotel is perfectly situated in the city if you want to see the city by foot.
Lots of restuarants and pubs nearby as well as sightseeing points of interest.
Staff were great and you can leave cases there should you geet there early of leave well after chek out time.

This was a lovely hotel that was very welcoming for my family. We enjoyed the pool many times. The breakfast was not cheap, and was very delicious. The hotel was 10 minutes from the heart of Salzburg and a little more than 10 minutes to the train station. We will stay here again .
While it was tricky for the Uber driver to get to the location, it was a very convenient location, close to dining and shopping and the fortress, which was what we wanted. Very friendly and helpful staff. Most spacious room we had on our trip that spanned five countries! Quiet location, comfortable bed. Enjoyed the stay thoroughly and would love to go back!
