Spa facilities are a must try, they have an indoor pool, sauna, whirlpool, steam room, as well as massage therapy. Dining is expensive as expected in such places. In short it was a great experience to stay in this castle if you have the opportunity to spend a couple of days here don't miss it.

I booked this room because of its location and was not disappointed. The price was great, especially for how close it is to downtown Salzburg and its sites. While the room was small, it was clean and well appointed. Nearby street parking was convenient. I would gladly stay here again.

This was a wonderful choice of hotel to stay at in Salzburg, Austria. The hotel was located in the old part of the city and very close to river and the rest of the things to see in Salzburg. Yes, this is a building that was built in 1512, but the rooms are very modern and surprisingly large. The front desk staff was very helpful. The hotel does not have A/C, but a fan is provided in the room and luckily the weather cooled down once we arrived. But keep this fact in mind. We will make sure that...
We were lucky not to get a hotel in Hallstatt and found this fantastic resort on nearby Lake Wolfgang. This is historic building expanded into a wonderful lakeside resort, with an amazing spa, indoor and outdoor pools, wonderful restaurant, and excellent service. The air conditioning was wonderful, the hotel room was clean and spacious, and we loved the free public transportation around the corner from the hotel. We would absolutely stay again. No complaints except that I accidentally booked for 1 person instead of two and the fee was 40 extra euro per night (I thought he said it would be 40 euro total for my two nights, not 80 total) so there was a miscommunication.
Loved the location of the hotel. You can see the city below from the mountain and you can look at the Alps mountain range. You can also go on a hike. I wish I had more time. I will definitely visit this location again.
