Great location close to everything. Hotel is in excellent condition. The air conditioning worked well. The elevator is quite small and it did take a couple of trips to bring it down. Otherwise no negatives on my stay. They also offer early check in for a fee.

I enjoyed the stay quite a bit, though I might disagree with the choice of some of the art. Every time I left or arrived to my room, it was with the image of a middle finger directed at me. Yes, art interpretation is in the eye of the beholder, but my interpretation left me with an unsavory impact. This is not how I would want to be remembered by a future repeat customer. However, there is much to commend here. The room was clean and maintained . Very quiet given the room overlooked a main traffic street that was very busy. The staff at the front desk was friendly and helpful with providing information. The kitchen staff was friendly and efficient, and though the breakfast bar was somewhat smaller than others, we were able to order delicious and fresh eggs and sausages with vegetables as well. Even though the housekeeping staff interaction was limited, their friendly faces and greetings were a nice part of the day. The uber pick drop off and pickup are only a few feet from the front door, and the Bahnhof is about 10-12 minutes away. Shopping is very convenient. The beauty and sites of Salzburg are as close as 100 yards to a mile walking distance and easy/relatively flat at a moderate to brisk pace if you are a moderately fit senior citizen. For those with mobility issues, definitely take the funicular to the fortress. Yes, I could stay here again without regret.

Beautiful room. Very comfort table bed and like the firmer pillows. When needing help with questions the front desk was very informative. Great breakfast buffet! Liked having the snack room and seating area since we used a couple times. Having two windows with great black out shades was wonderful! Very quiet! Only thing I would have liked was a good area for sitting along with a table/desk. My room did not have.
