When the beach is calling your name, you might want to head down to Elegushi Royal Beach, located 7.9 mi (12.7 km) from central Lekki. If you want to continue walking by the waves, head to Landmark Beach and Kuramo Beach.
After visiting Lagos State Government Secretariat, make a plan to see the other sights and activities in Lagos. While you're in the area, stroll along the marina.
"The room is big, comfortable, and cozy. The staff members are courteous and focused on their assigned tasks. The free breakfast is sumptuous with different meals and snacks to spice up each day. The only con is that the standard room does not have a waste bin for throwing waste, instead of going to the washroom to do that. Overall, I will give the hotel 8 out of 10 for hospitality and efficient service."
"I had the absolute pleasure of staying five days at the Lagos Marriott in Ikeja, and I can honestly say it was a phenomenal experience from start to finish. From the moment I checked in, the staff exuded warmth, professionalism, and genuine kindness that made me feel right at home.
The spa experience was nothing short of amazing — I indulged in both a massage and a facial, and the therapists were attentive, skilled, and incredibly professional. It was the perfect way to unwind and recharge during my stay.
The dining experience was equally exceptional. On my very first night, I dined at Idapo Lounge, and I was thoroughly impressed. The supervisor and waitstaff went above and beyond to ensure every detail was perfect. Special shout-out to Blessed and Kennedy, who truly made my evening unforgettable. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming.
A special thank you to Kennedy, who not only offered thoughtful food recommendations but also took the time to suggest ways I could explore Lagos and even helped with tips for car service. His genuine care and attentiveness elevated my overall experience — he embodies true hospitality.
Overall, the entire team made my stay world-class. The service, the food, the spa, and the friendliness of everyone I encountered were all second to none. I’m leaving Lagos with wonderful memories and a deep appreciation for the culture, hospitality, and people of Nigeria.
Can’t wait to return!"
"This hotel will give the likes of Sheraton a run for their money. This, should really be a Five Star Hotel. The complimentary breakfast is a combination of the likes of Nigerian and Western delicacies. I enjoyed the 10th floor roof top restaurant the best. There you can catch a view of almost the entire Ikeja in the horizon. There's a roof top swimming pool that's lighted at night. There's another world class restaurant on the groud floor. My favorite on the menu is their Penne Chicken Alfredo which is also available on the complimentary breakfast buffet. The rooms are very clean and beds are quite comfortable. I haven't stayed in their standard rooms but I will recommend their executive rooms and junior suites without any reservation. Though I have always booked and paid in USD, I think prices are pretty below market value for Lagos."
"The staff were extremely warm and professional and always ready to help, and the food in the restaurant was exceptionally good, with a large variety."
