While the area where is hotel is located was good, safe and had plenty of restaurants near by-this hotel leaves a lot to be desired. No a/c and the ceiling fan did not work very good. It had two speeds, one super fast which almost sounded like it was about to take flight. And the other at a very slow spin rate. Elevator did not work until my final day there.

We loved this little hotel. The warm traditional colours and interior character including art work and stained glass made it very cosy. Do not stay here if you want helpful staff, a clean room, screens on your windows, decent shower pressure, dry floors, or a quiet night's sleep. I stayed with my family for 6 nights. Every night, noise from nearby bars kept us. The hotel is dated - fresh paint and a new countertop don't make up for hard beds, lumpy pillows, and loud laminate flooring. Two incidents stood out: We returned one evening to find flooding in the kitchen area of both rooms. The front desk clerk handed me a squeegee and one towel and expected us to clean it up ourselves. When I pushed back, he shrugged. I asked for bathroom towels - he said that's not what they're for. I reminded him the floor damage would cost far more than laundering two towels. He said he couldn't help. Unbelievable. Two nights later we came back to polka music blasting from a conference area at 12:15 AM. The clerk, Sebastian, told us there was nothing they could do — - it was a private party. I said, it's a private party in your hotel - how are we supposed to sleep? Same answer: nothing we can do. This place has one thing going for it - its location. Avoid at all costs.

Great value hotel, location worked great for me. My room was the first one by the stairs and elevator and window above entrance. It was noisy at times, as people wait for tour buses as early as 630am the noise travels up. Besides that I’m sure other rooms are better. I would stay again.

The pictures on Expedia look nothing like the actual rooms, they're in terrible condition, poorly illuminated and ventilated. The beds are hard and there are no extra blankets. The location is good and safe.
