A wonderful cabin on a floating island with owners-the cutest couple ever who did go above and beyond to be our best hosts.

We were very happy with our choice of the Sonesta Posadas. It is definitely a hotel designed for tourists and most everyone we met there was from the US or Europe. It is right on Lake Titicaca, and is behind a gate/wall which makes it quieter and safer. It is slightly outside of the main city area, but if you want to go downtown cabs are plentiful and cheap. The hotel is about a 15-20 min taxi ride from the main part of town. And have the address handy as the driver didn't know where it was right away. But it's on a main highway so he ended up finding it. Since it's so far out, we made friends with the taxi driver and he ended up being our driver while we were in Puno. The staff was really helpful whenever we needed anything. When our converter didn't work, they loaned us theirs for a long as we needed it. The breakfast was very good. They helped us confirm our tours and got us any messages. It is around the corner from Lima street with all kinds of restaurants and bars and shopping. It's only 2-3 blocks from city center.

Wonderful accommodation in the beauty of Lake Titikaka.

The Staff was really courteous, helpful and just wonderful. They assisted us with making taxi reservations, provided maps, suggested dining choices etc. The hotel's breakfast buffet was hearty and had great choices. We had dinner the evening before we left and the food was great; reasonably priced and huge servings not to mention delicious. I'd recommend this anytime. Showers/bathroom was clean had great water pressure. My room had a queen sized bed and with plenty of walking room left.

Great value for what you pay. Clean and decent breakfast. You cannot get more for the price.

We arrived at 6 am from Cusco by bis. The staff arranged for a partial day/early check in. Comfy beds for an early nap followed by a delicious breakfast. Arranged 2 tours and we're extremely well taken care of.

The view was spectacular. Wilson, our host was very helpful. He also told us about how the islands are made and on Uros culture. Titicaca ecolux is a magical place.

The place and staff were exceptional. The only problem I had with it all was it was an extremely cold, cloudy day. After arriving about 2 PM, on a freezing day, and after seeing my jetted tub in the window nook, all I wanted was the promised 24 hour available hot water that was promised. Unfortunately, there was not only NOT a showers worth of hot water, but also not even a moments worth of hot water. The margins were warmer than freezing, and just colder than tepid. Nice garden view and lake view, lovely balcony, even we failed to book a lake view room, the first floor yard view balcony is enjoyable enough for a in room dinner, great location with a bridge to lake Titicaca, fabulous restaurant, all the recommended dishes worth a try, little bit far from city center (10 min with 15 Sol) but the hotel is enough for entertainment and sight seeing

This hotel is located in a peaceful, beautiful setting. Our room was very clean and our meals there were very good. The service was friendly, helpful and caring.
