"We had a wonderful stay at the Grand Hotel Bastiani in Grosseto. The hotel is beautifully maintained and perfectly located in the historic center, making it ideal for exploring the city on foot. From the moment we arrived, the staff was welcoming, professional, and always ready to help with recommendations or any needs we had. The room was very clean, comfortable, and elegant, offering a peaceful atmosphere after a day of sightseeing. "Convenient location next to train station (which in Europe can be a plus and minus), Less than 15 minute walk to anything worth seeing in Grosetto. Very friendly staff helped with early check in. Room is quite plain and could use some updating, but was clean. Bed a bit uneven. Good wifi and tv options. "

"Good location, close to the town and beaches. Cleaning wise was good but lacking customer service. If you are not italian they won’t even try to welcome you or offer information if you need it. Breakfast is very limited and repetitive , not much choice. Same pastries, cakes, fruits every day. I would stay maximum 2 days to enjoy the swimming pool but 1 week was way too long at this hotel."
