"Good hotel at a decent price. Gabriel at the front desk checked us in and made sure we had everything we needed. Rooms are comfortable and have balconies. Interestingly the shower and toilet are part of the room, with frosted glass doors for privacy.
Traffic was a bit loud but calmed down at night. There is a security guard posted through the evening/night.

The hotel itself is excellent. As soon as you step outside you’re risking your life. Filthy dirty, loaded with homeless people doing very obscene things on the street, lots of beggars.
It was an off beat location but a completely private compound with gated security to enter! The front desk staff were very helpful and spoke English but no one else was English speaking making it difficult to order food and drinks but we made it work! The property was nice. The room (on 4th floor) had an interesting smell. I thought it smelled like moth repellant or cockroach repellant. But my wife said it smelled like moist mold or something. It wasn’t very bad. Breakfast was very good. The staff was really great.
