A fabulous hotel in a perfect location on Copacabana Beach, but a five minute walk from Ipanema Beach. The staff could not do enough for you, with excellent sized bedrooms, beautiful breakfast overlooking the sea. Highly recommended hotel.

8/10 Very good

Nice hotel with great view of Copacabana beach - small rooftop pool area but free chairs/umbrellas on beach too. Great selection at breakfast. Room was spacious with huge bed and bathroom - colour scheme a bit dull and only downside was no balcony which would've been nice to enjoy view more from room

The hotel has a great location. It’s a bit on the older side and needs a refresh. However the staff were EXCELLENT. They were friendly, helpful and cheerful

Very friendly staff, always ready to help. Room was very clean. The rooftop bar overlooking the beach area was fantastic. We will stay at this hotel for sure if we revisit Rio.

8/10 Very good

My stay at Miramar was good. Our room was clean and had a beautiful view. Breakfasts and bars had good service and nice staff. However, the area did not meet my expectations. The blocks adjacent to the hotel were run down besides the beach, which is no fault to the hotel but we didn’t love the location. The beach access was the major plus for the area. Overall, good value and nice hotel.

10/10 Exceptional

If you're booking a hotel in Rio, this is my #1 choice. From check-in to check-out, this hotel was excellent. Their attention to detail, helpfulness, friendliness, and safety were the best we have experienced and we travel a lot! The location is excellent, right across the street from the beach where they have dedicated staff and chairs. The rooftop pool has gorgeous views and excellent service.

Location was excellent and the staff very helpful. However the property is old and our room was not great at all. Not even one good window to let in the sunlight. The breakfast was excellent though and have to mention again the helpfulness of the staff
