"This small hotel is in a fabulous location- close to the Giraffe Centre, Karen Blixen Museum and the National Park. Karen is a lovely green area. The hotel has lovely open areas to sit. The cafe serves good meals at reasonable prices. The hotel arranged for the driver, Steven, to pick me up from the airport. He also took me to the national park and museums etc. I can highly recommend him too."

The staff checked on me to make sure I was comfortable. I was greeted going out and coming in. I was asked what would I like for breakfast the next morning. This experience was delightful being a single traveler. I recommend Troy hotel. It gave a family friendly atmosphere."

In the evenings, we could enjoy candlelight dinners at nearby Kalamata restaurant with wonderful atmosphere. Exploring the city during the day was convenient, and we could return to enjoy private space in the apartment. Front desk also arranged airport transfer service for us - very thoughtful."

The food (and drinks from the bar) were good and reasonably priced. If your looking for home base to explore Nairobi and the surrounding area, I'd definitely recommend staying here. "
