I stay here frequently and it is always a great experience. Friendly, professional staff, excellent food and a great location. I am always happy to introduce friends to the hotel. Of course being able to walk to the farm shop is a bonus.
Another excellent dog friendly stay at the Gateway. Staff were welcoming to us and our dogs (they weren't just tolerated). After a busy week exploring Scotland, my boyfriend and I decided to make a stop for a couple of day in the quiet town of Windermere to get some rest and relaxation before continuing onto our busy adventures down in London. Jericho was just what we needed. The entire place was beautifully decorated and very very well kept. Our room was so cozy (but spacious) and luxurious--I probably could have just moved in.
