Clean tidy room, staff attentive, breakfast omelettes amazing. Second stay and still good, parking is not available at the hotel but you can juggle the local roads, get lucky with a baby outside the hotel or use the nearby multi-storey

Nice hotel, directly opposite train station and easily walkable to the town centre. Parking at the local cricket ground was a short walk but cheap. Breakfast was extra but was nice, and definitely appreciated the choice of having an omelette freshly cooked.

8/10 Very good

Hotel is a little tired in places but the owners are clearly expending effort and money to refresh and modernise it. Our room was clean and with a recently refitted bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. We would stay in this hotel again.

Reception and Lady serving at breakfast were all lovely, room clean, shower really nice and food at bar and drinks all good. No car park at the hotel but parking at Cricket club a short walk away for 2 pound a day. Enjoyed our stay and would book again if ever in Kendal
